1. Intimacy
We believe that the most important relationship in all of life is the one between the Creator and His creation. Because we are cherished by God over all creation and He formed us with specific intention and purpose, we owe it to ourselves to make intimacy with Him not only our top priority, but our all-encompassing purpose.
2. Lordship
We believe that wholehearted submission to God’s will and His word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth. Because we want people to reach their fullest potential, we emphasize living a life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
3. Evangelism
We believe that God’s heart is to seek and to save that which is lost. Because we want to reach those who are unsaved, we motivate and mobilize students to reach their campus and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
4. Discipleship
We believe that Jesus has commissioned every Christian to “go and make disciples.” Jesus’ first disciples were the ones who responded to His invitation of “Come, follow Me.” The great emphasis of this Great Commission is a call to follow Jesus, being transformed into His likeness on a daily basis and teaching others to do the same.
5. Leadership Development
We believe that leadership is influence, and that God has called every believer to influence the world around them. Because every
believer has leadership potential (some will lead few and others will lead many), we prioritize leadership training and deliberately
create opportunities for young, potential leaders to develop their gifts. This is primarily accomplished through service because the
greatest leader is the servant of all.
6. Community
We believe that God has called
every Christian to walk in
Spiritual Community. Because
we value this, we reject the
ideas of disposable relationships
and choose to walk in
meaningful, relevant and life-giving relationships both on the
campus and in the local church.
